About Turners
Turners opened in July 2007 by Chef Richard Turner and business partner Nick Cruddington. The aim was simple, to offer serious food at reasonable prices in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, whilst maintaining the highest standards of service possible. Since the restaurant opened it has received much praise from the media and public alike and in January 2009 Turners became one of only 3 restaurants in Birmingham to be awarded a coveted Michelin star. Despite all its awards and rave reviews Richard Turner still believes in the philosophies he had when he opened the restaurant. He believes that looking after his customers and using the freshest seasonal produce is the real reason for Turners Success.
